Was born in Ukraine and dedicates his life to making a change and influencing people. For his work for the benefit of the entire population of Ukraine, Rabbi Markovitch was awarded by the President of Ukraine Order of Merit, the highest award in Ukraine and the Medal of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Ukrainian Bar Association.
The history of the founding
In 2020 Rabbi Yonatan Markovitch together with his wife Inna and children came to the Ukrainian capital. Here he began his activity as the emissary of the Chabad movement and the Chief Rabbi of Kyiv. Today the Jewish community in Kyiv is developing and has thousands of members.
